Why we ask for a credit
Because the work pays for itself twice: once when you pay for it, and once when someone sees it and asks who made it. That second half is priced into what we charge you, which is why our rates are what they are. If you’d rather we weren’t named, that’s completely fine — it’s just priced separately.

One thing that isn’t on this list: removing a credit line, a watermark, or the information embedded in a delivered file after the fact. That isn’t covered by either paid option — if you want our name off, the options above are how, and they’re genuinely easy to arrange.
The questions people actually ask
Do we have to credit you on every post?
No. One credit where the work lives — a caption, a site footer, an end card — is what we're asking for. We're not going to audit your feed.
Can we say we made it in-house?
That's the no-credit option. It's a real thing people need, and there's nothing awkward about asking for it — it's just priced, at 50% of the fee, because the attribution is half of what we get out of the job.
Our client doesn't want the work made public at all.
That's the embargo — we don't show it for 12 months. It's priced above the no-credit option on purpose: not being named costs us something, but not being able to show the work at all costs us more.
Why does this cost anything?
Because the work pays for itself twice — once when you pay for it, once when it brings the next client in. Taking our name off it removes the second half, so it's priced rather than quietly absorbed into everyone else's rates.
We already paid. Isn't it ours?
The finished work is licensed to you in full, and the licence is in your agreement. What we're talking about here is narrower — whether we can say we made it.
