Custom App Development for Brands & Businesses
Some jobs outgrow a website. When the work is a login, a workflow or a tool your clients use every week, we build that too.
In short
Sequence builds custom web applications: client portals, member and course platforms, booking and ordering systems, internal tools, and installable apps that live on a phone's home screen. We design the interface the way we design a campaign — around what the person on the other end has to do — then build it as software you own. One codebase serves desktop and mobile, your data stays in your own database, and nothing is rented per seat.

What you get
Client portals with logins, files, approvals and payments
Member, course and community platforms
Booking, ordering and quoting systems
Installable apps that run on any phone from one codebase
Team logins with roles and two-step sign-in
Owned outright — your code, your database, no per-seat fees
We run this studio on software we built: proposals clients accept online, contracts they sign, invoices they pay, a client portal, and the admin behind all of it. For 1/2 Penny Wholesale we built a trade platform carrying 1,947 designs and 12,072 variants, with wholesale pricing locked server-side to approved buyers.

Questions
Do you build iPhone and Android apps?
Most businesses are best served first by an installable web app: one codebase that installs from the browser to the home screen and works on every phone, with no store review between you and an update. If a store listing genuinely earns its place, we will tell you what that phase takes and whether we are the right team to build it.
What does a custom app cost?
It is quoted per build, because a client portal and a full ordering platform are different jobs. We scope it with you and give a fixed figure before anything starts.
Who owns the code?
You do. The codebase, the database and the domain are yours, so any developer can work on it later — including us, if you want us to.
Can it connect to the tools we already use?
Usually, yes. Payments, email, calendars and accounting are the common ones. We check every connection in the scoping call rather than promising it on a sales page.
